Use Case 1 For SAP Data To Excel Sheet

Importing real time data from SAP, formating in day wise, stage wise output in Excel using VBA Excel macro.

1. Problem Statement : It was difficult to monitor plan vs actual (from SAP) data on the basis of day wise, stage wise in single screen without occupying the SAP user.

2. Solution Proposed : We recommend the solution using VBA Excel macro which will import the actual data from SAP and plan data will be maintained in Excel sheet.

3. Solution Deployment : We designed and developed the VBA Excel program from importing the SAP data (actual), formatting with plan data considering day wise and stage wise detail. Training given to the end user for how to use this tool.

4. Benefits to Client : a. End users need not to login to SAP, b. Any time real data will be available with this tool, c. One valuable SAP user will be free for other work.

Use Case 2 For SAP Data To Excel Sheet

Non-Moving Items In SAP B1 Hana & Excel VBA/Macro (Auto Generated Emails).

1. Problem Statement : There was no track of items which were non-moving in every warehouse. Inventory costs were increasing due to so many items lying in various warehouses for a number of days and sometimes for a number of months.

2. Solution Proposed : After studying the pain area of non-moving items, we suggested a solution using Excel VBA in which real time SAP B1 Hana data will be imported to Excel file and will be populated as per required format.

3. Solution Functionality : We designed and developed the Excel VBA file. By executing the macro stored in an Excel VBA file, a. Real time data will be imported from SAP B1 Hana and exported to warehouse wise Excel files in the required format, b. there is a coding in Excel VBA to send the warehouse wise email to the respective concerned person with non-moving items details.

4. Solution Deployment : Solution deployed in the store department and trained by a person who is responsible for tracking non-moving items.

a. No need to login to SAP for viewing non-moving items.

b. Costly SAP users will not be occupied.

c. Every concerned warehouse person receives the auto-generated emails with real-time non-moving item details.

d. This is an automatic process, so manual, tedious and repetitive work has been eliminated in preparing the report.
